Thinking of Remodeling Green? Let’s Party!

There comes a time when homeowners feel like they need a change.  In some instances this change is driven by the expansion of their family.  In other instances this change is driven by the need to upgrade plumbing and electrical systems in their aging homes.  Whatever the underlying reason for the change most homeowners would like to incorporate green remodeling solutions into their projects because it sounds like the ‘right thing to do’.  However, many of them are not quite sure what green remodeling is, why they should do it and how it can be done.

As more and more homes are remodeled, factors under consideration include minimal use of nonrenewable energy, minimal production of pollution, minimal energy consumption and repurposing of existing materials…all without sacrificing comfort, health, and safety. This strategy is what has become known as green remodeling.

One way homeowners are learning about green remodeling is through parties (think Tupperware, Avon or Mary Kay).  A Green Remodeling party is a fun and relaxed way to introduce you and your homeowner friends and neighbors to the concept of green remodeling.  A Green Remodeling Consultant shares practical green remodeling solutions through an engaging presentation that highlights the interrelationships between the design, construction, and maintenance of homes with its components, surroundings and occupants, as well as the impact on our environment and natural resources.

Here’s How It Works

1. Offer to host a Green Remodeling party.

2. Invite homeowner friends, relatives, neighbors and co-workers to the party.

3. Plan every detail of your party with your Consultant.

4. Gather with your guests to learn about green remodeling.

  1. What an article. We loved reading it and have passed along to some friends. We wish most of our friends and family would realize how important that we change our habit of using green supply bags instead of regular plastic bags. We hope to spread the word of banning plastic bags to all the cities around the US and even the world.
